This course provides a foundational understanding of our relationship with God that was originally revealed in the TABERNACLE OF MOSES and subsequently fulfilled by what JESUS CHRIST did on the cross.

Its purpose is to help the church prepare herself as the BRIDE OF CHRIST for her Bridegroom King’s return. This is a response to God’s call TO BE HOLY FOR I AM HOLY (1Peter 1:16; Leviticus 11:44,45).

While structured around the Tabernacle, to-date, this course offers in four 2-hour sessions – in a very practical way – a deepening of our DISCIPLESHIP OF HOLINESS towards a greater state of readiness for Jesus’ return:

1. Overview: Starting the Journey – THE CALL

2. Relevance of the TABERNACLE

3. Context of the Book of EXODUS.

4. Pattern of the TABERNACLE Structure.

5. Application.

One of the main and personally relevant value is to have the INTIMACY OF WORSHIP restored in the BEAUTY OF HOLINESS (Psalm 96:9) that is biblically based as “… make a sanctuary for Me, and I will dwell among them” (Exodus 25:8). Worship is – after all – what we are destined for eternity in His Presence upon Jesus returns.

The benefit of this intimacy restored  – a bride re-awakened in a loving discipleship of holiness for Jesus’ return – offers the potential to ignite a fresh and holy zeal for a revival of WORSHIP, EVANGELISM, MISSIONS and OUTREACH in both our own lives and that of churches.

It is intended for all those seeking this specific vision of a bride re-awakened by a HOLY LOVE and WORSHIP for her coming Bridegroom King.

It is not just another edification programme, but rather a set of very comprehensive and practical suggestions for continuing this life-long journey and sharing this with another.

This will surely deepen one’s own holiness in discipleship and fulfil Christ’s Great Commission “… teaching them to obey all I have commanded (Matthew 28:19,20).

Since its launch in Singapore 1998, a pool of trainers and intercessors have been raised.

In 2008, the Lord opened doors overseas and some local trainers have also been raised in countries like Thailand, Japan, Myanmar, Cambodia, Malaysia, China and Nepal.

In 2015, this has also been adopted as a missions curriculum of MMS (Methodist Missions Society of Singapore).

By mid 2016 – I have retired early – after nearly 3 decades pastoring Methodist Churches in Singapore, in response to God’s call for this message to reach the nations; firmly trusting the Lord to raise intercessors, trainers and admin support to help multiply the principle of – SELF-SUSTAINABILITY – in each nation the Lord will open for JOURNEY TO HOLINESS.

The VISION is that when the “scaffolding” (or temporary trainer base, prayer base and financial base) has multiplied itself amongst the indigenous people, a “permanent local” base of trainers, prayer & financial support will ensure JOURNEY TO HOLINESS is not only NATIONALLY SELF-SUSTAINABLE but shall in due time become a “scaffolding” for other nations.
